Screwfix to open new Waterlooville store

Eleven new jobs have been created at a new Screwfix store in Arnside Road, Waterlooville, which officially opens this Thursday (5th May).

Nick Emms, store manager, said: ‘I’m confident that we’ve got a great location here in Waterlooville.
‘My team and I have already been out and about getting to know local businesses and tradesmen and we’ve all been struck by how friendly everyone has been.

‘At Screwfix we pride ourselves on meeting the needs of today’s busy tradesmen and serious DIYers with a speedy, reliable and convenient service, plus quality value-for-money products.

‘We’re keen to welcome tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts from Waterlooville and the surrounding local areas to our new store.’

He added: "Our new team includes people of all ages and levels of experience, but the most important requirement is that they have the right attitude and can offer superb customer service.

‘Everyone here is really looking forward to the store opening.’

Opening offers include a 10% discount across all lines between Thursday and Sunday.

On the opening day, power tool manufacturer DeWalt will be demonstrating a range of products and a screw-drilling competition will also take place. The customer with the fastest time will win a 40inch smart TV.
