Screwfix to open new store in Wishaw, Lanarkshire

Screwfix is to open a new store in North Lanarkshire having taken on the lease to a unit in Canyon Road, Wishaw.

The 8,240 sq ft unit has been leased for ten year and rent was quoted as £4.75 per sq ft. 

Savills acted on behalf of the site owner - IO Group - while Colliers CRE acted on behalf of Screwfix.

Colliers CRE's Iain Davidson, said: “Wishaw was a desired location for Screwfix and we are delighted to have secured a new facility for their business.

“Both landlord and tenant worked together to ensure that this letting transacted without extended delay.”

Savills Glasgow's Ross Sinclair, said: “This is a great result for our client following the recent acquisition of the estate.

“This letting provides Screwfix with a very modern prominent unit with private parking.”
