Screwfix Opens New Store In Republic Of Ireland
Screwfix has opened a new store in County Wexford, in the Republic of Ireland.
The branch is located in unit 6 of the Kerlogue Industrial Estate, in Drinagh, Wexford and opening hours are Monday - Friday, 7am - 8pm; Saturday, 7am - 6pm, and Sunday, 10am - 6pm.
Over 10,000 products are stocked in store and anything not immediately available can be ordered for delivery to home, site or any Screwfix store, typically arriving within 2-3 working days. Customers can also Click & Collect by ordering online and collecting their goods in their choice of store in as little as 1 minute.
Screwfix now operates nine stores in the Republic: Dublin Darndale, Dublin Finglas, Dublin Sandyford, Ennis, Galway, Kilkenny, Swords, Waterford and Wexford.
In March 2019, parent company Kingfisher confirmed its intention to open up to 40 Screwfix stores in Ireland, and the first three opened that December.
In August of this year, Screwfix submitted a planning request to open a new branch in Mullingar, County Westmeath.
Cushman & Wakefield was the property agent involved in securing the site and the principle contractor was Bridgford Interiors.
