Screwfix Opens First Store In France

In a post on LinkedIn on Monday 31st October, Kingfisher CEO Thierry Garnier announced the opening of the first Screwfix store in France.

The new store is located on Rue Albert Premier, 59150 Wattrelos, in the Nord department in the Nord-Pas de Calais region of northern France. 

Currently advertised store opening times: 

• Monday: 07:00 - 20:00
• Tuesday: 09:00 - 18:00
• Wednesday: 07:00 - 20:00
• Thursday: 07:00 - 20:00
• Friday: 07:00 - 20:00 
• Saturday: 07:00 - 18:00
• Sunday: 09:00 - 13:00

Thierry Garnier's post read: 

"Great news for Kingfisher and for Screwfix today! We opened our very first Screwfix store in France this morning (Wattrelos-59). Well done everyone ! Looking forward to seeing many more Screwfix stores in France in the future".

Paul Rawes, Branch Manager at Screwfix, posted: 

"Wow… What a journey!!
Let me introduce to you our first store in Screwfix France!!
I have had the amazing pleasure of being involved in this journey over the last year including inductions, training and setting up our first store in Wattrelos.
