Screwfix: March Store Openings

After opening 22 branches in February, Screwfix opened just one in March. 

The Hull – Witham store at Great Union Street, HU9 1AL, opened on Thursday 5th March.

It is the third store to have opened in Hull and employs 9 staff.

Screwfix’s Hull – Witham Store Manager, Lee Aspin, said: “We chose to open a new store in Hull to better meet the needs of the local tradespeople. Many of our new customers previously shopped with Screwfix at our Hull – Holderness and Hull – St Andrews stores, so we’re delighted to bring Screwfix even closer to them for greater convenience.

“Our celebration weekend, which ran from Thursday 5 until Sunday 8 March, attracted hundreds of customers. We have received fantastic support from the local community and are looking forward to supporting more busy tradespeople and serious DIYers in Hull.”
