Screwfix launches website for customers in Ireland
Screwfix, the UK’s leading multi-channel supplier of trade tools, hardware, DIY supplies, plumbing and electrical equipment, has expanded its offering even further, with the launch of www.screwfix.ie, a dedicated website for customers in the Republic of Ireland.
The website, which launched earlier this month, will give tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts in Ireland access to over 15,000+ products, all at low trade prices. Customers will also be able to benefit from Screwfix’s 30 day money back guarantee policy, free returns and free delivery on all orders worth over €75, which can be sent to home or site within two to three working days.
The launch of Screwfix.ie is the latest step in the retailer’s expansion, following the launch of four trial stores in Germany and plans to open over 50 new stores in the UK during 2015, creating an additional 900 jobs.
Andrew Livingston, CEO of Screwfix, said: “It is great to launch our first presence in Ireland and give local tradesmen, handymen and serious DIYers the chance to purchase products at a time that suits them. We already receive 1.5 million visitors to our Screwfix.com site each week and are delighted that we can now bring our successful online proposition to Ireland. A dedicated service that offers added convenience and local prices, will certainly make shopping even easier for our Irish customers.”
