Newark To Welcome New B&Q Store In Coming Weeks
The UK’s leading home improvement retailer, B&Q has announced the opening of its newest store in Newark, the opening comes just in time for locals to refresh their homes for the summer. The new B&Q store is set to open its doors to the community at 7am on Thursday 27th April and will be opened by Unit Manager, Troy Carrington, and Mayor Cllr Laurence Goff.
B&Q’s new 24,000sq. ft store will offer 11,000 products, available either in store for immediate pick-up or for one-hour or next day click and collect, as well as access to over 100,000 more home improvement products for home delivery. Troy Carrington, the Unit Manager at B&Q Newark, and his team of 28 colleagues will be on hand to support the local community helping to make home improvement easier to by providing the tools and knowledge for home improvement projects, whether whole home renovations, kitchen and bathroom installations, or décor refreshes reflecting the latest trends.
Discussing the upcoming store opening, Troy Carrington, Unit Manager at B&Q Newark, said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing B&Q to Newark and to opening our fresh, new store. To help support the Newark community meet all their home improvement needs, the new store offers fantastic kitchen, bathroom and bedroom displays as well as a free design service which is available instore and online. Customers will also have access to B&Q’s added timber cutting service for appropriate products. The new B&Q Newark store gives customers the chance to sign up to the B&Q Club membership and receive exclusive rewards and offers. To assist customers at giving their homes extra shine in time for summer, the store will be offering a range of outdoor furniture and plants. Decorative displays will help customers pair their home perfectly to their chosen décor style, matching everything from furniture, paint colour and accessories to a curated summer look.
The Newark store will also feature B&Q’s popular Valspar paint mixing service, alongside gardening, lighting, electrical, storage, hardware, plumbing and building departments. Further services include B&Q’s free 1 hour Click + Collect and installations service for customers. The first 100 customers at the new B&Q Newark store will also be given a £50 gift bag which includes a wide variety of DIY goodies to help with their home improvement projects.
The new store also welcomes Trade customers to join the TradePoint scheme: membership is free and exclusive discounts are available to trade professionals. From builders to decorators, kitchen and bathroom fitters, TradePoint supplies products for every project and the B&Q Newark store also offers TradePoint Click + Collect as well as plenty of parking available on site.
