Kingfisher understood to be looking for new HQ

According to the Telegraph, Kingfisher has appointed agents Cushman & Wakefield to identify a suitable site within London, in which to base the company's headquarters.
Kingfisher is understood to be seeking a 300,000 sq ft site, and industry sources have said that a likely location would be in the West End or the City. The report also states that Kingfisher has recently taken on an extra floor at its existing London base in Paddington.
It is unclear what would happen to Kingfisher's Eastleigh, Southampton offices if a new London base was created, and Kingfisher has declined to comment on the story.
Kingfisher is due to deliver its half-year trading update tomorrow (Tuesday 20th September), following a Q2 update in August which revealed Group sales of £3,026m, up 3.2% in constant currencies and 3.0% in LFL sales.
