Bunnings Launches In-Store and Online Customer Magazine

Bunnings - March Magazine 725 x 500

Bunnings has worked with publishing house Medium Rare to create a free, monthly, in-store magazine for customers.

The magazine will have a circulation of 500,000 and be available in Bunnings' 290 Australian stores.

The first issue, available online here, has a focus on kitchens, decorating and outdoor spaces and features the following articles:

  • How to hide the mess with an invisible kitchen (pg. 24)
  • Must have herbs to help you cook up a storm (pg. 54)
  • How to transform your laundry (pg.22)
  • Cool kitchen cabinet makeover (pg. 46)
  • Create a Moroccan inspired garden oasis (pg. 16)
  • Make a splash with these splashback ideas (pg. 60)

Editor, Jane Parbury, said: “Bunnings is already the DIY expert. The magazine will play a pivotal role in delivering the all-important inspiration step,”

“Our mission will be to create a must-read-and-keep magazine that inspires home improvement. Our research shows that Bunnings’ customers are heavy print readers and have a voracious appetite for content that helps them improve, update, maintain and renovate their homes and gardens.

“Our goal is to help customers create the home of their dreams.

“We’re sharing inspirational makeover projects, how-to tips and tricks and plenty of expert advice to help readers renovate, update, improve and maintain their home and garden.”

Daniel Hennessy, national advertising manager at Medium Rare, said: “It’s exciting to be launching a new title for Bunnings, Australia’s leading home improvement retailer.

“Australians love to renovate. The massive circulation of Bunnings magazine will be unrivalled in the Home category, making it a great option for brands who want to reach home lovers 25-54 and who want to align themselves with one of Australia’s most trusted brands.

Keith Murray, Bunnings’ marketing general manager, said: “We are really excited to offer our customers a free monthly magazine that will provide them with inspiration and helpful advice to create a home they are proud of and a great place to live.”
