B&Q to roll out new store concept to ten stores
Michael Loeve, CEO of B&Q, has revealed that the retailer is to roll out its new concept store design to at least ten stores, in different catchment areas, by March of next year.
He also confirmed plans to launch a one-hour click and collect service, using the technology developed for Screwfix.
Speaking at the Retail Week Interiors Summit, Loeve explained that B&Q had 'lost a bit of focus' and said B&Q's stores were starting to look 'fairly functional' and 'a little bit tired'.
He also confirmed that B&Q is looking to expand its presence in and around London, despite having commenced a store closure plan last year.
