Another board director leaves the Kingfisher business

Less than a week after B&Q's Retail Director Damian McGloughlin leaves B&Q after 32 years to become Chief Operating Officer of Bunnings UK & Ireland, Kingfisher's Chief Sales & Retail Operations Officer Jean-Paul Constant is leaving the business after just 10 months in the role.

Constant was hired in 2016 from Decathlon to replace two senior directors at the time Guy Colleau and Alain Souillard. A Kingfisher spokesman confirmed Constant’s resignation but did provide any further information as to his reasons for leaving.
In was only in April that B&Q's CEO Michael Loeve left the business after two years to become CEO for the Netto business in his home country Denmark.

The news comes as Kingfisher continues to roll out its five-year turnaround plan – One Kingfisher – put together by group chief executive Véronique Laury.
