Share Award For Kingfisher's New CEO
Thierry Garnier, the new CEO of Kingfisher, has been awarded shares with a value of around £7.4 million.
Kingfisher plc has announced that, on 21 October 2019, Thierry Garner, Bernard Bot, John Wartig and Alain Rabec (each a PDMR) were granted awards to acquire ordinary shares of 15 5/7 pence each in the Company under the Kingfisher Alignment Shares and Transformation Incentive Plan (the 'KASTIP'), and the KASTIP French Sub Plan.
These awards were made in accordance with the Directors' Remuneration Policy approved by shareholders at our Annual General Meeting on 9 July 2019. Following these grants, the Company's Executive Directors hold nil-cost options over the following number of Shares in aggregate:

This Is Money reports that the payment reflects pay, pensions and bonuses forfeited by Garnier in his previous role at Carrefour.
