Next To Open Made.com Concession
Next is to open a Made.com concession within its Meadowhall shopping centre store in Sheffield.
The concession is expected to open in December, and marks the beginning of Next's plans for expansion of the brand, which it bought out of administration in a pre-pack deal for £3.4m last November.
A post on LinkedIn News UK read:
"Since launching with Next, product availability has improved and our sourcing routes have become more sustainable and ethically compliant," Made’s head of brand, Hollie Parkinson, told LinkedIn News UK.
With their own brand marketing and design team in place, Parkinson says the Made team plan to grow the brand design credentials and expand its offering into new categories across furniture and homeware. She says Next plans to support the Made brand operationally and commercially, allowing it to leverage the efficiencies of a larger business. As well as helping Made rebuild its online presence, Parkinson confirms ambitions for an in-store push, with concessions in Next’s Sheffield Meadowhall store due to open later this year and the exploration of external stores, brand partnerships and a return to Europe to come next year.
