Leroy Merlin To Open New Format Garden Store In Sardinia

Leroy Merlin Italy from website

Leroy Merlin is to open a new format store in Italy early next year, dedicated to gardens and outdoor living.

The new Leroy Merlin Garden store is due to open at the end of February in the Elmas area of Cagliari, Sardinia, close to a branch of Tecnomat (Groupe Adeo).

The specialised store will be around 2,000 square metres in size and will feature top garden industry brands and products, including plants; garden furniture and barbecues; swimming pools; external flooring; fencing; gates and more.

Leroy Merlin Garden will use an innovative and flexible layout to give customers the best possible experience, while a seasonal assortment of goods will provide inspiration for their outdoor spaces.

Catalina Natalia Tapuc, store leader in Cagliari Elmas, told local press: “Sardinia is for Leroy Merlin a territory to conquer, because we have never been present on the island with a traditional shop - and the first impression is always the most important. In this case we wanted to surprise the Sardinian clientele with something unexpected. The garden, as the 'fifth room of the house' has always been a leading sector for Leroy Merlin and we are sure that customers will appreciate the novelty proposed by this store conceived in such an innovative way that it will be able to offer them the best solutions ".
