Leroy Merlin to Maintain Russian Operations

The Interfax press agency* have come into possession of a communication sent to suppliers and partners, signed by the deputy general manager of Leroy Merlin Vostok LLC (Leroy Merlin structure in the Russian Federation - IF) Erika Poulet and Director of Interaction with suppliers Anna Goncharova.

The letter confirms the continuation of the activities of the 112 stores in Russia and the non-penalization of suppliers in the face of incomplete or insufficient deliveries. “However - the communication continues - we expect a partnership approach and a level of service from you (…) It is extremely important for us to guarantee the availability of goods for our customers”.

The brand would also guarantee "the examination of requests for changes in purchase prices in a short time (from three to five days)", but that it does not intend to accept unreasonable increases.

Available to increase supplies and expand ranges, Leroy Merlin Russia, again according to what reported by Interfax, would have set up an office to deal with imports and to have intensified the search for alternatives, relative to goods they encountered difficulties in supply or production.

Examination of Leroy Merlin's Russian website reveals that Groupe Adeo operates 112 stores across 56 Russian cities, although further pages indicate that this is 107 hypermarkets in 62 cities. over 36,000 employees. 

Leroy Merlin currently offers a wide range for residents of the Moscow region, such as Moscow, Balashikha, Podolsk, Khimki, Korolev, Mytishchi, Lyubertsy, Krasnogorsk, Elektrostal, Kolomna, Odintsovo, Domodedovo, Serpukhov, Schelkovo, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Ramenskoye, Dolgoprudny, Pushkino, Reutov, Sergiev Posad, Voskresensk, Lobnya, Ivanteevka, Dubna, Yegorievsk, Chekhov, Dmitrov, Vidnoe, Stupino, Pavlovsky Posad, Naro-Fominsk, Fryazino, Lytkarino, Dzerzhinsky, Solnechnogorsk, Istra and Zhukovsky.
