Kingfisher restructures leadership team

It has been reported that the Kingfisher leadership team has been restructured after two of the three operations directors left the business.

It is understood that Allain Souillard has retired and Guy Colleau has left the business without another position to go to.

Guy Colleau was the operations director for 'big box' which includes the B&Q, Castorama and Koctas formats.

Alain Soiullard was the operations director for 'medium box' which comprised the Brico Depot business.

The third member of the team, Steve Willett, is understood to have retained his role as chief digital and IT officer but the Kingfisher website shows that is no longer operations director of omnichannel.

The roles were in place for less than a year.

Kingfisher is expected to make an announcement in due course.
