Kingfisher Appoints Chris Blatchford As Chief Information Officer
Kingfisher, the international home improvement company, today announces the appointment of Chris Blatchford as Chief Information Officer.
Chris will lead the development and delivery of Kingfisher’s ambitious technology strategy as part of the retailer’s ongoing digital transformation.
Chris joins from RELX Elsevier where he most recently served as Chief Technology Officer, leading a team of 800 engineers to create user centric digital products and design highly scalable open data platform architectures.
Before that held a variety of technology roles at Thomson Reuters, including Head of Enterprise Technology, and served as Head of Professional Services, Europe, at CPA Global.
JJ Van Oosten, Kingfisher’s Chief Digital and Technology Officer, commented: “I am very pleased to welcome Chris to the team. He will play a key role in helping us to bring greater speed and choice to customers as we grow e-commerce sales and deliver on our Powered by Kingfisher strategy.
