Work Begins On New B&Q Store In Newark

Building work has begun on a new B&Q store in Newark.

The new store is being built on The Maltings Retail Park in Newark - a new five-unit, 50,000 sq ft edge of town retail development which is anchored by an 18,000 sq ft M&S Foodhall.

A B&Q spokesman told local press: "Our planning application for a smaller store in Newark has been approved, which will be situated at The Maltings Retail Park.

"The new smaller store will have a wide range of home improvement products while offering customers access to the full B&Q range of more than 40,000 products through home delivery and click and collect, as well as access to specialist services help on those trickier projects.

"We look forward to opening our doors and supporting the people of Newark with all their home improvement needs."
