Wickes TradePro Announced As Lead Partner For FixFest
- Fix Radio launches the UK’s first-ever music festival dedicated to builders and tradespeople
- Louis Timpany, CEO and founder of Fix Radio, discusses the growing partnership with Wickes, and the exciting growth of the Builders Station
Established as the definitive sound of worksites across the breadth of the nation, Fix Radio - the UK’s fastest-growing national broadcaster - has announced Wickes TradePro as its lead partner for their inaugural music festival, FixFest. Bringing the station’s best-loved artists to the big stage in 2025, FixFest will serve as the nation’s first ever event of its kind dedicated to builders and the trade, promising 'a proper festival' that will celebrate the construction community in style.
The announcement of Wickes’ support for FixFest further strengthens the relationship between the two brands, with the nation’s favourite home improvement retailer currently serving as the lead partner to one of Fix’s flagship programmes, the Clive Holland Show.
The launch of FixFest represents the next significant juncture in an increasingly exciting journey for Fix Radio, with the Builders Station recently announcing its latest weekly audience of 589,630 listeners. Passing the half-a-million milestone for the first time in its history, the meteoric growth of Fix has seen its audience increase by 593% since acquiring its national licence in May 2022, cementing its place as the UK’s fastest-growing national broadcaster. Vowing never to play the same song twice to create an upbeat radio station that tradespeople can relate to, Fix Radio has emerged as the authoritative voice of the construction industry, with over one in six people in the profession now listening to the station every week.

“Our two brands have an existing partnership which lives on the Clive Holland Show and now we can’t wait to see the partnership evolve with the first and only music festival for UK tradespeople. What an exciting next step in our partnership.”
Gary Kibble, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer at Wickes said: “We are thrilled to be the headline sponsor of the first-ever FixFest.
