US paint brand Benjamin Moore to open first UK outlet

Benjamin Moore Paint Store Chelsea

Benjamin Moore, the US designer paint brand is to open its first standalone showroom at 263 Fulham Road, Chelsea in September.

The flagship outlet of 121 sq m (1,300 sq ft) will stock the full range of Benjamin Moore’s premium paint, with a colour palette of more than 3,500 shades.

In 1883, Irish born Benjamin Moore and his brother Robert opened Moore Brothers in Brooklyn, New York, having first emigrated from Ireland in 1872. True entrepreneurs, they started with $2,000 and one product, "Moore's Prepared Calsom Finish," which was sold exclusively through independent retailers. Moore Brothers built their company on Benjamin Moore's belief in "The exercise of intelligent industry in the spirit of integrity”, and a dedication to manufacturing excellence and quality.

The Benjamin Moore paint range has been available online in the UK for over two years through Shaw Paints, which was founded by Craig Shaw in 2015. Find out more by accessing the Shaw Paints website here - BenjaminMoorePaint.co.uk

The store has been designed by Crucial Projects and their creative director Andrew Tomlinson said  “We are thrilled to be debuting in the capital in such a sought after and prime location amongst many other leading names in home retail and interior design.

Helen Shaw Director of Shaw Paints said “With an unswerving commitment to the finest quality paints, colours and finishes, we feel our brand offers something unique to the area.”
