Tile Mountain Group Breaks £100m Turnover Milestone

  • Year-end results showcase strong growth as leading tile and bathroom retailer eyes future expansion. 

Tile Mountain Group, the UK’s leading tile and bathroom retailer with a strong e-commerce presence and twelve showrooms nationwide, has achieved a significant milestone in its year-end accounts for 2023. The Group has surpassed £100 million in turnover for the first time, reporting a total turnover of £101,873,573, an impressive 17.5% increase year-on-year. 

In addition to record-breaking turnover, the Group posted an impressive profit before tax of £7.445 million, a 94% increase compared to the previous year. This strong financial performance reflects the company’s commitment to delivering quality products and exceptional customer service through both its retail showrooms and e-commerce platforms.

Chairman Mo Iqbal expressed pride in the Group’s accomplishments: "Crossing the £100 million turnover mark is a major milestone for us and a testament to the hard work of our team, the loyalty of our customers, and the trust our business partners place in us. We’ve seen tremendous growth, and we’re well on track for even bigger achievements in 2024/25."

Building on this momentum, Tile Mountain Group has continued to see robust sales growth in 2024, with year-on-year sales currently tracking around 30% higher. To support its expansion and increased demand, the company is set to open a state-of-the-art automated warehouse in Q4 2024, enhancing logistical efficiency and further boosting its ability to serve customers across the UK.

The opening of our new automated warehouse and the planned expansion of our showrooms are crucial steps in our journey to becoming the go-to destination for tiles and bathroom products in the UK." added Mo Iqbal.

Looking ahead, the Group is setting its sights on significant expansion, with plans to increase its showroom presence from twelve to thirty locations over the next few years. This ambitious growth strategy underscores the Group’s confidence in the future of the UK home improvement market and its commitment to providing consumers with unparalleled access to premium tiles and bathroom products.
