Tile Giant Unveils First TV Advert

Leading tile retailer, Tile Giant, has launched its summer sale TV advertising campaign with the aim of driving sales in the run up to the bank holiday weekend. Timed to coincide with increased renovation and DIY activity at the end of the month, the advertising campaign is running across the Sky network until Monday 31st May.

Focusing in on the summer sale, the tile retailer has devised a series of promotional offers designed to grow footfall across the brand’s 83 stores nationwide, with supporting digital activation across owned social channels to direct traffic to Tile Giant’s ecommerce site. The summer sale will offer consumers exceptional value for money with up to 50% off selected products, including Keston – an elegant marble-effect, Stanton – a practical and effective wood-effect, and Hamilton a stylish stone-effect with coordinating textured décor wall tile.

A first for the retailer, this new TV advertising campaign sparks the start of wider plans to increase awareness of the Tile Giant brand with a larger consumer audience, focusing in on core ranges, as well as design-led licensed brands including the exclusive Ideal Home collection.

Inspiration and education will be a key feature on the Tile Giant website, showcasing just how easy it is to create stunning interior spaces with tiles, while instore, new trend-led visual merchandising solutions are being rolled out to again inspire customers to transform walls and floors with decorative solutions. The Tile Giant brand has also been further developed to reflect the new direction for the business, updating the look and feel in line with modern design influences.

Kamila Chalfin, Marketing and Brand Manager at Tile Giant, explains: “Our strategic focus is on brand awareness and making a connection with a wider audience base. Tile Giant, like many others in the tile sector, has seen growth during difficult times, but now is the time for us to invest in the brand, taking it to new and existing audiences through an improved instore and online experience. The TV campaign is a first for the business, but we’ll be monitoring the metrics closely to see how well it performs in reaching new consumers.”
