The Range to open in ex-Homebase Llanelli

The Range sign

Following the closure of the Homebase store in Llanelli on 10th June this year, excitement is now building for the opening of the new The Range store on 15th September.

The new store in Parc Pemberton, will employ over 80 full and part-time team members when the home, leisure and gardens superstore opens its branch in the out of town shopping area.

Chris Dawson owner and founder of the Plymouth based company said: “Opening a new store is always a proud moment for the company and Llanelli is no exception. It will be great to create 80 jobs in the town following the closure of Homebase and we expect that the new store will be a fantastic boost to the local economy.”

The Llanelli store will offer the usual wide range of products across 16 departments including DIY, Arts & Crafts, Homewares and Furniture. The store will also have a large outdoor garden centre providing a wide selection of plants, aggregates and much more to spruce up the garden.

The Range is continuing with its aggressive store opening strategy that sees the UK retailer now operating from more than 140 stores across the UK and Ireland.
