The Range, Poundland and Wyevale feature in Top Track 250 companies

The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table ranks Britain's mid-market growth private companies with the biggest sales.

The Range (7th place), Poundland (46th place) and Wyevale Garden Centres (83rd place) have each been awarded a place in the annual listing.

Top Track 250 is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each October, with a national awards dinner in London and follow-up alumni dinners.

A typical Top Track 250 company:

- has sales ranging between £140m and £650m; representing the next tier down from our sister Top Track 100 biggest private companies
- has between 100 and 5,000 staff
- is owned and run by established families and entrepreneurs, and around 30% by private equity firms
