The Range Launches Kitchen Business
The Range has launched a range of kitchens under the name Jonas & James.
The retailer has opened kitchen showrooms in two of its stores: the new, flagship Derriford branch and Liverpool's Edge Lane store.
In a LinkedIn post, The Range said: "...we are excited to unveil our luxury yet affordable new product area. As a home, leisure and gardens retailer, it seems only natural for us to expand our offering to include more for the home.
"The new Jonas & James Kitchen Collection presents kitchens to stand the test of time. The elegant designs come in a variety of contemporary and traditional styles, featuring an array of colours and finishes to choose from.
"We have benefits specifically for our customers including a £200 Range gift card with every kitchen order over £2000 (T&C’s apply), a free design service on all quotes, alongside expert advice and VR technology to help you visualise your dream kitchen in your home!"
Comments under the post indicate that the kitchen service will be opening in other stores in future. The Chelmsford store manager commented: "Looking good! Exciting new products. Can’t wait to have it in my store!"
Kitchen Ranges
There are ten different kitchen ranges - from traditional to contemporary - each available in a variety of colours.
The website features an interactive room planner and stores are understood to have virtual reality goggles to allow customers to explore their designs. Furthermore, the website allows customers to select a kitchen design from another retailer and identifies the comparable design from The Range.
The website states that the furniture products are FSC® certified, have FIRA Gold certification and come with a ten-year guarantee against manufacturing defects.
No prices are provided on the website but the site has several references to affordability and saving time and money. The website states: "We're confident that we’ll beat almost anyone on price and with a much better specification."
The Range is also offering 0% finance on kitchen purchases.
