The Range due to open in former Homebase Blackpool
The Range is due to take over the former Homebase store in Blackpool on 23rd September, creating 80 new jobs.
The company has grown to over 120 stores in the UK, since owner and Plymouth-based entrepreneur Chris Dawson opened his first store in 1989. The company is well known for offering over 65,000 home improvement and enhancement products across 16 different categories including Paint and Decorating, Arts & Crafts, Furniture and Homewares.
The company confirmed that the new store will provide around 80 jobs from department managers and warehouse assistants to retail administrators.
Chris Dawson said: “Opening a new store is always an exciting moment for the company and Blackpool is no exception. We feel that The Range is a unique shopping experience that has something for everyone and are sure that the new store will be a welcome addition to the local area.”
