Shuttercraft Opens Chester Branch
Shuttercraft is continuing its drive to sustainable growth with the addition of the Chester branch, owned by Marie Holland (pictured below) - the first solo female franchise owner within the network.
The Chester team, now part of Shuttercraft’s nationwide network of local experts, benefits from extensive technical and customer service training that ensure customers are provided with excellent service at every touchpoint.
The bespoke shutter business now has a nationwide network of 38 partner businesses, offering expert on-site consultation and professional installation, to give homes across the UK design and heat efficiency.
As part of a continued drive to deliver exceptional customer experience, the leading supplier of high-quality interior shutters and blinds, Shuttercraft has also built and expanded its set of franchisee support services.
As part of its extensive range of services, Shuttercraft offers an award-winning training programme to upskill both installers and owners. Led by Shuttercraft’s head trainer Mark Duwell, a 15-year veteran of the shutter industry, the training offers both franchise owners and their staff the support they need to tackle complex installations - ensuring the highest quality installations for homeowners across the nation.
The scheme, part of Shuttercraft’s promise to offer industry expertise far and wide, has also been recognised by the British Blind and Shutter Association, who awarded Shuttercraft with the ‘Best In-House Training Programme’ award.
Further professional development opportunities are provided by a selection of networking events, bringing together leading lights from across the industry to provide insights and guidance on shutter installation, process improvement and innovation.
The events, organised by Shuttercraft, feature workshops, guest speakers and training sessions. That way franchise owners, including the new Chester branch, are supported to share their experiences and knowledge across the entire Shuttercraft network, ensuring consumers get the best service possible.
Tony Reid, Head of Marketing for Shuttercraft, says: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Marie Holland to our network of partners.
“At Shuttercraft, we know that our franchise owners are the heart of our business. Their tireless work to grow their branches and support customers across the nation is an instrumental part of our overall success as a business, and we’re proud to be providing such a wide range of support services to help drive their operations forward.”
Marie adds: “The training at Shuttercraft was first class, Mark hugely adapted the course to suit me, and I felt comfortable throughout. The atmosphere within Shuttercraft is warm and motivating, with a very reassuring and knowledgeable team of specialists in each field.”
Reflecting the importance of the changes across the retail landscape, franchises can also take advantage of digital support from MRS Digital. Designed to easily direct homeowners to their local expert, MRS Digital’s support makes it easy to book a free survey and start the process for any home transformation.
Tony adds: “Over the past two decades, we’ve built up a comprehensive and powerful package of franchise support services to give our owner-installers the best chance of success, and we’re constantly looking for new ways to enhance their skill sets and grow their businesses.
“Investing in our franchise partners is essential to our continued success, and we’re proud to have built and supported the UK’s leading network of shutter installers.”
