Screwfix is partnering with Google Digital Garage to provide free online and in-person digital skills training to help people grow their business, develop their career, learn new skills or grow their confidence online.

Google Digital Garage will be bringing their Getting Started with Digital Marketing session to Screwfix’s Head Office in Yeovil, Somerset on Wednesday 18th March at 17:30.

Spaces for the free in-person digital skills session are limited and will be offered on a first come first serve basis – so make sure you don’t delay signing up.

The course is ideal for any local individuals or small businesses looking to learn more about digital marketing.

In the session you’ll learn about a range of digital marketing skills from Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Social Media, Display, Email & Content Marketing as well as how to build a marketing plan.

Matt Williams, Director of Talent, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Google in offering free digital training. It’s a pleasure to invite Google to Yeovil and into the Screwfix Head Office. This is such a valuable opportunity for local people and small businesses to learn from a global brand. We look forward to welcoming you to the session on the 18th of March.”

Ronan Harris, Google UK & Ireland Managing Director, said: “Having the right digital skills can have a transformative impact on business growth and job creation. Our hope is that by providing dedicated, tailored training through the Digital Garage we can help bring new growth to the Yeovil community and across the country. We want to show businesses how digital skills can help them to thrive, not just as a place for commerce, but also as a cultural centre piece of the communities that they serve.”

To book your place on the Google Getting Started with Digital Marketing session, please register at Eventbrite.
