New Tenant For Former Crawley Homebase Store
The former Homebase unit in Crawley is to get a new lease of life when it reopens as The Range later this year.
The Range is a variety retailer selling more than 65,000 product lines across 16 different departments, including homeware, furniture, garden, textiles, arts and crafts and DIY.
Work has already commenced at the Crawley Avenue site which will open on Friday 10th April - Good Friday.
Around 80 full- and part-time roles will be created by the new store, which will offer an Iceland Foods concession, a cafe and a large garden centre.
The Range recently announced the opening date of its new Greenock, Scotland, store which is also a former Homebase unit.
Chris Dawson, the Plymouth-based owner and founder, said: "Opening a new store is always an exciting moment for the company and the Crawley store is no exception.
"We’re excited that our customers will be able to enjoy their new store just in time for Easter.
"It is great to be turning the former Homebase into another national retailer and we look forward to welcoming new customers to their local store”.
