'Garden Centre By Homebase' Opens In Two Irish Stores

Homebase The Range Ireland

Homebase has today opened its 'Garden Centre by Homebase' concept within two Irish branches of The Range: one in in Sligo and Drogheda.

Former Homebase stores in Balloo Park, Bangor and Winchester also re-opened as The Range today and, early last month, Homebase confirmed it was opening three garden centres on 7th March in Bodmin, High Wycombe and Selby.

On Friday 28th March, Homebase announced that Harrogate and Maidenhead were the latest branches to reopen under the new branding, confirming that the Maidenhead store would also be home to a 'Kitchens by Homebase' showroom.

The openings bring the total number of brand-new centres across the UK and Ireland to 30, and more are planned for April, including:

  • Sittingbourne
  • Frome
  • Newmarket
  • Portlaoise
  • Sevenoaks
  • Bishops Stortford
  • Drakehouse park, Sheffield
  • Haverfordwest
  • Rayleigh Weir

In a LinkedIn post, Homebase said:

Today we opened our first Garden Centre by Homebase stores in the Republic of Ireland, in Sligo and Drogheda.

This means we're now able to provide the quality plants and garden tools we're known for to the green fingered in Ireland.

A big thank you to all the customers who queued up bright and early this morning, we can't wait to see everything you grow!
