New CEO for Hobbycraft
Dominic Jordan has been promoted from retail operations director to the CEO of Hobbycraft.
Former CEO, John Colley, left Hobbycraft last year to return to Kingfisher, after just two months in the role.
Matt Davies, the current CEO of Tesco UK & Ireland, will take on the the role of chairman on May 1st, following the completion of the Tesco-Booker merger. He succeeds Archie Norman, the current chairman, who holds the same post at M&S and is currently helping Wesfarmers evaluate the Bunnings/Homebase business.
Matts Davies said: “This is a unique business that I have followed for many years. I look forward to working with Dominic again and to working with the team to build on its success to make Hobbycraft an even greater place for crafters and enthusiasts alike.”
Dominic Jordan said: “I am excited to become Hobbycraft’s CEO to lead a business that I know to have such an exceptional team and incredible range of products.
“I look forward to working with them to drive further growth and build our customer experience in-store or online.”
