New B&Q Store Opens In Newark

B&Q, the UK’s leading home improvement retailer has opened its newest store, located in Newark (B&Q Newark, The Maltings, Northgate, Newark, NG24 1HD). The store was opened by Unit Manager, Troy Carrington and Mayor Cllr Laurence Goff.   

The new 24,000 sq.ft store features 11,000 products available either in store for immediate pick-up or for one-hour or next day click and collect, as well as access to over 100,000 more home improvement products for home delivery. Unit Manger, Troy Carrington, and his team of 28 colleagues are on hand to support the Newark community make their home improvement tasks easier by providing the tools and knowledge for all projects, from entire home renovations, kitchen or bathroom installations, or décor refreshes featuring the latest trends.

Troy Carrington, Unit Manager at B&Q Newark, said: “I look forward to welcoming the Newark community to our newly revamped store over the coming weeks. Our location in Newark is great for all those who are central and further afield, so our team of 28 colleagues can help you access our services for all your home improvement needs.   

“With spring and summer renovation underway we’re expecting our Valspar mixing service to be popular with our customers, as well as our outdoor furniture and plants ranges. Alongside the summer range, customers will be able to sign up in store to our B&Q Club membership and receive exclusive rewards and offers, as well as key cutting and showroom planning services, as well as a wealth of DIY tools and essentials from adhesives and sealants to power tools and paintbrushes.”   

B&Q Newark boasts a wide array of products for its customers including fantastic kitchen, bathroom and bedroom displays as well as an added timber cutter for appropriate products. The new B&Q Newark store also offers a free design service which is available instore and online. Customers can also sign up in store to the B&Q Club membership and receive exclusive rewards and offers. To help customers give their homes extra shine in time for summer, the store will be offering a range of outdoor furniture and plants. Decorative displays will help customers pair their home perfectly to their chosen décor style, matching everything from furniture, paint colour and accessories to a curated summer look.    

The new B&Q Newark store also includes displays featuring design ideas, from kitchens and bathrooms to bedrooms and living areas, providing creative inspiration for customers alongside parking with ample spaces for electric vehicles.

The store was officially opened by Mayor Cllr Laurence Goff, who said: “It was a pleasure to join the B&Q Newark store team for its opening. The new store is their much-welcomed return to Newark retailing and I look forward to seeing how it supports many members of the community with their home improvement needs.”  

The new store also welcomes Trade customers to join the TradePoint scheme: membership is free and exclusive discounts are available to trade professionals. From builders to decorators, kitchen and bathroom fitters, TradePoint supplies products for every project and the B&Q Newark store also offers TradePoint Click + Collect as well as plenty of parking available on site.
