MyVoucherCodes Launches Interactive Guide to Save Money on Interior Design

Online discount code provider MyVoucherCodes has launched an interactive guide to interior design, offering people the opportunity to furnish their dream homes on a budget.

It’s a well-known fact that furnishing and redecorating always ends up being more expensive than originally intended. Ideal Home recorded that in Britain, an average of nearly £6,000 a year per household is spent on decorating and furnishing, suggesting that when it comes to playing house, Brits splash the cash.* But, even if you don’t go over-board with your interior design the essentials are still expensive, especially if you’re buying everything in one go.

Recognising both the homeowners desire to create a beautiful home and the enormous cost that often comes along with it, MyVoucherCodes wanted to help budding interior decorators to get the most out of their money, whilst still achieving the look they’ve always wanted. Launching their guide, Interior Design | The Saver’s Edition, MyVoucherCodes hope to inspire users with Pinterest style images of rooms, giving the opportunity to explore the furnishings and decorations. By hovering over the items, information on where to find similar pieces is revealed, as well as links through to discount codes to help them save money.

Head of External Communications at MyVoucherCodes, Anders Nilsson said of the guide, “Furnishing and decorating is always more expensive than you expect, meaning people are often left swallowing the cost when they inevitably go over budget. By launching this guide, we wanted to help people save on their purchases, helping to make their money go further while they create their perfect home.”

As well as directing users through to discount codes for lots of well-known and top end brands, the guide also provides tips for making the most out of a room. The guide allows users to browse different styles of rooms, from traditional and contemporary living rooms to home offices and work stations, giving users the inspiration they need to make their house a home.
