Mike Logue To Step Down As CEO Of Dreams
Dreams today [15th October] announces that Jonathan Hirst, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Dreams since 2014, will become CEO of the business from 01 January 2022. After eight years of leading the business, Mike Logue has decided to step down as CEO, but will remain with the business until the end of December 2021 to facilitate a smooth transition. Jonathan has been COO of Dreams for the past four years as part of the leadership team that has made Dreams the UK’s leading bed and mattress retailer. As CEO, Jonathan will lead the business, building on Dreams’ position as the most recommended, specialist bed retailer.
Mike Logue said: “I’m incredibly proud of what our 2,000 colleagues have achieved together. I have no doubt under Jonathan’s leadership and Tempur Sealy’s ownership the business will continue to go from strength to strength. After eight years with Dreams working with the team to deliver a transformation of the business, I have decided it’s the right time for me to step aside and spend some quality time with my family.”
Jonathan Hirst said: “Mike has played a crucial role in shaping Dreams into the business it is today. Now part of the Tempur Sealy family, the largest bedding business in the world, Dreams is in an exciting new phase. With this dedicated and talented team, footprint and infrastructure, we are well positioned for further growth and look to the future with confidence.”
