The DIY market is at a pivotal point and changing rapidly as it adapts to a more competitive online space. Retailers and manufacturers are increasingly turning to online to look for new, incremental revenue streams.

ManoMano, the online marketplace for Home Improvement and Garden products, has positioned itself as a new, profitable sales channel for sellers looking to begin, reinforce or increase their online presence. As a category specific platform with a strong tech' background, ManoMano claims to be the ideal digital shop window for their partners’ catalogues.

MH Star partnered with ManoMano when it launched in the UK in early 2016. Since then, they have seen a significant increase in sales as the marketplace began to find its place in the UK DIY industry. MH Star offer own brand ranges in the outdoor living, home and pets categories, currently sold on ManoMano.co.uk as well as on their own transactional website.

The company witnessed a 240% year over year increase in their unit sales, which equated to a 310% increase in sales volume in 2017. With ManoMano’s growing UK visibility, this partner saw an uplift of nearly three times more unique visitors to their product range year on year, indicating the potential of the platform as a sustainable source of revenue.

Diego Castro, ManoMano Account Manager at MH Star, comments: “Our business saw a great opportunity to target this market through ManoMano, in its role as DIY and Garden specialist in the UK. Our product range and corporate mission were also a great match!”

“Thanks to their availability and expertise in DIY, Garden, and Outdoor Living, ManoMano understands our objectives and ambitions. This has allowed us to promote our brands and increase our sales successfully through their marketplace in 2017.”
