ManoMano Mangopay
  • Mangopay and ManoMano partner to power new payment capabilities for marketplace businesses
  • Mangopay's modular payment infrastructure to provide a seamless payment experience for ManoMano’s marketplace sellers, driving local and global business growth

Mangopay, a modular and flexible payment infrastructure provider for platforms, announces a new global partnership with ManoMano, a reference European marketplace specialising in online DIY, home improvement and gardening. The partnership is set to strengthen ManoMano’s platform capabilities and simplify payments for marketplace sellers.

At the heart of the new collaboration is Mangopay's support for ManoMano's expansion into the enterprise market and providing scalable commerce solutions for major global merchants.

The collaboration between the two companies aims to create a dynamic and user-friendly online marketplace that bridges the gap between specialist sellers in DIY, gardening, and home improvement, and customers seeking the expertise, products, and services offered by ManoMano.

Mangopay specialises in modular, embeddable payment infrastructure for leading platforms worldwide. The company has processed over €100 billion in transactions and supports over 250 million users. Mangopay’s solutions enable platforms to build customised payment systems that drive revenue, facilitate growth, enhance their user experiences and prevent fraud.

ManoMano’s partnership with Mangopay represents a significant advancement in digital transactions for its marketplace and enhancing the seller experience. The integration of Mangopay’s API and e-wallet infrastructure will play a crucial role in ManoMano’s growth, both through its local operations and its international expansion through cross-border payments. The partnership will streamline payment and verification processes, increasing efficiency for sellers and simplifying earnings management and payouts.

Mangopay will also support ManoMano with its cross-border payment needs to expand into new geographies and grow its business in strategically important markets in line with its ongoing expansion plans, including the UK and China. This includes enabling ManoMano to verify sellers and make payments anywhere in the world, in local currencies and to local bank accounts.

As a regulated electronic money institution, Mangopay will handle ManoMano’s seller payment flows across Europe.

“At ManoMano, our mission is to harness technology to unite people through commerce," said Grégoire Hirtz, Vice President of Operations at ManoMano. "Our collaboration with Mangopay is a strategic move to enhance the payment experience for our community. Mangopay’s innovative modular payment solution has enabled us to create the specific infrastructure we need to support the growth of both our sellers’ businesses and our own."

“At Mangopay, we pride ourselves on supporting leading marketplaces and platforms. Helping our clients’ businesses to grow through innovating together is core to our strategy," said Alexis Ammar, Director of Strategic Sales at Mangopay. "Our flexible payment infrastructure empowers clients to innovate and succeed. We are excited to support ManoMano’s ambitious growth and turn ideas into action together."
