Lowe's unveils upgraded LowesForPros.com

Lowesforpros website

Lowe's Companies, Inc. today announced its latest tool to help Pro customers save time, money and run their businesses more efficiently: a newly enhanced LowesForPros.com. Through the upgraded site, Pro customers can make and track purchases of more than 500,000 items to run their business from the convenience of a computer, tablet or smartphone and can choose to buy online and pick-up in-store or have orders delivered directly to their business or jobsite.

Lowe's listened to the Pro customer and designed the new LowesForPros.com to be a complete online solution, offering more efficient functionality that allows Pros to develop requisition lists, access purchase history reports and create custom catalogs. These catalogs enable customers, such as property management companies, to maintain their brand and design standards across multiple buyers and locations while saving time creating new orders. The website also allows Pro customers to manage their company spend by setting purchase approvals and providing the ability to process tax-exempt transactions.

Conrex Residential Property Group, a Lowe's Pro customer and leader in the single family rental aggregation space with more than 2,500 homes and growing by 200 homes per month, provided valuable insight along with other leading Pro businesses during the testing phase of LowesForPros.com.

"As a company we needed more control over purchasing and reporting from field operations. We also love the idea of placing orders conveniently online without having to go to the store. Lowe's For Pros is a valuable tool to meet these needs," said Tyson Schuetze, director of renovations for Conrex Residential Property Group. "The catalogs help to standardize the look of our homes throughout our footprint. Email order confirmation helps our Renovation Managers in the field to manage budgets and stay organized. By being part of the testing phase of this new site, we were able to give suggestions and direct feedback, which made us feel that Lowe's really cares about the customer's needs."

The site also provides Pros with the most relevant content, offers and industry resources to help grow their businesses, allowing Pros to take 5 percent off online purchases every day with Lowe's Business Credit and to take advantage of savings for tax-exempt purchases.

"LowesForPros.com helps Pros save time, money and run their businesses as efficiently as possible," said Mike Horn, Lowe's vice president of ProServices. "Pros have the ability to buy online and pick-up in-store or have orders delivered directly to their business or jobsite while taking advantage of the 5 percent discount every day wherever they choose to shop with us – through their mobile device, tablet or computer. This new website was designed by the Pro, for the Pro."
