Johnson Tiles named 'Innovation Champion' by TP

Tunstall based Johnson Tiles has been named on a list of '2017 innovation champions' by Travis Perkins, after being recognised for its efforts in creating ground-breaking products designed to solve problems in the construction industry.

Johnson Tiles was chosen from more than 100 applicants as a winner in the first ever Travis Perkins Innovation Awards (TPIA) for its 'CristalGrip' tile-fixing system. Other award winners included Derbyshire-based RA Tech and Mark Singleton from Malvern.

Group strategy director Norman Bell said: "As a major UK employer with 21 businesses, it is important to invest in innovative products and new ideas which help to solve daily problems that are encountered by our customers and the industry as a whole.
