Home Bargains to Open in Grantham's Former Homebase Store

Home Bargains' Grantham store is to relocate into the town's former Homebase unit, lcoated on Dysart Road.

The Homebase store, which occupied Unit 1 on the Dysart Retail Park, closed last year.  Homebase Grantham had been listed in the first round of planned closures, following the sale of the business by then-owner, Wesfarmers, to investment company Hilco Capital.

A Home Bargains spokesman told local press: "We do have Unit 1, Dysart Retail Park, Grantham, down as a re-site that’s due to happen later this year. At the moment we’ve only got provisional dates for the opening, which is scheduled for September. This may be subject to change."

Home Bargains is currently located on Augustin Retail Park on Sankt Augustin Way, less than a mile away from the retail park, which has a TK Maxx, a Matalan and a Currys/PC World store.
