Global DIY-Network: 'Meet The CEO' Event With Thierry Garnier

At 13:00 CEST on Friday the 14th of May, John W. Herbert will continue the "Meet the CEO" series with an interview with Thierry Garnier, CEO of Kingfisher. The interview can be live-streamed through the Global DIY-Network, with all other "Meet the CEO" interviews available to watch on demand.  

Thierry Garnier became CEO of Kingfisher plc in September 2019. He is an experienced, international retailer having spent 20 years in senior roles at Carrefour, the French multi-national retailer.  

Kingfisher plc is the fourth largest home improvement company globally with over 1,380 stores operating in eight countries across Europe under various retail banners including B&Q, Castorama, Brico Dépôt, Screwfix, TradePoint and Koçtaş. 

The interview will focus on Kingfisher response to Covid-19 pandemic, the sustainability initiatives that Kingfisher have established and Thierry's vision of the future for Kingfisher.  

Thierry Garnier, also fluent in Mandarin, has been awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre national de la Légion d’Honneur (France) and recently received the Magnolia Gold Award, one of the highest recognitions given to foreigners in China.
