Glass & Glazing Federation appoints new Commercial MD
The GGF Group announced the appointment of Billy Quinn as Managing Director of its commercial subsidiary companies – FENSA, GGFi, BFRC, RISA and Borough IT.
Billy Quinn is a highly accomplished Business Leader, Commercial Director and Non-Executive Director who brings a wealth of experience to the GGF Group, most recently as Commercial Director for the online digital training provider CCUK. He has also held senior commercial roles within several blue chip retailing Groups including Home Retail Group, Kingfisher and B&Q.
Additionally Billy has experience in the not-for-profit sector holding the position of Non-Executive Board Chair of The Furniture Ombudsman (TFO). Billy’s commercial background has both breadth and depth. During the early stages of his career, whilst a Sales Executive with MFI he achieved a BA in Business at Manchester University.
He has since lead and influenced large complex organisations, building sales & service propositions in the UK & internationally. As the GGF’s group of subsidiary companies, trading as the Helix Group continue to grow industry influence through a transitional period of restructure, the addition of Billy as Managing Director will strengthen both the commercial arm of the GGF and subsequently bring benefit to all connected to the Federation.
