The team at GTN Xtra has published the latest analysis of its GTN Bestsellers Epos data:

While the GTN Bestsellers team took a break to concentrate on Glee, sales in the GTN Bestsellers Garden Centre Epos data during the past two weeks of September have slowed, and last week they dipped below last year’s levels for the first time since the start of August.

Total sales for the third week of September were 6% down on 2020 levels, but, 20% ahead of the same week in 2019.

Plant sales dropped by 23% but we hear stories of bulb sales being very high. We’ll do some detailed analysis of Autumn bulb sales in next week’s GTN Bestsellers newsletter. Subscribe here

Sorry we didn’t get a chance to say hello to everyone during Glee, what a busy show it was!  With hundreds of great new products launched it will be interesting to see which ones make the GTN Bestsellers charts during next year.
