Cox & Cox Introduces Room Builder Software

Cox & Cox room-builder

Cox & Cox transforms the way we shop for homewares with the introduction of Room Builder.

Powered by Hullabalook stickers technology, the Room Builder software allows customers to design their dream living room, home office or hallway. Starting with a blank canvas, users can select the shade of flooring closest to theirs, and a wall colour, using Cox & Cox's very own range of 16 paint colours, which is soon to expand with a 8 new trend colours.

It's extremely user-friendly - furniture can be added, moved or removed easily from the drop down menu options to one side. Once the layout is done its fun to move on to the styling aspect, adding in mirrors, lighting, plants and decorative accessories. When the room is finished the design can be saved and shared via email/message etc. All the chosen products automatically appear in a wish list which can be added to the basket with one click - a seamless shopping experience.

"The possibilities are endless to suit every interior style. Seeing how products look next to each other, being able to swap things in and out, and even changing paint colours on the wall - it's a fantastic tool. We've had a lot of fun playing around with this and know that our design conscious customers will love it too, we look forward to seeing what they come up with." says Dani Taylor, Product & Creative Director.

Always on the lookout for the latest website technologies is Aynsley Peet, E-Commerce Director at Cox & Cox, who says"We love to be one step ahead, providing better shopping experiences for our customers. With the latest website technology at their fingertips we could immediately see the potential of working with Hullabalook, incorporating their room builder software into our website."

He continues, "Early feedback from eager customers using it in the first weeks of launching has been fantastic and the aim now is to build on that positivity and start using the software as a marketing tool. The design and in-house styling teams will build rooms showing how to create the latest interiors trends that home-interiors enthusiasts can replicate, and we can invite our customers to share their own designs with us which we'll then share on our social media channels, and through Style Notes, our blog."
