CMO Group Launches Green Friday Scheme
CMO Group PLC is reinventing the annual Black Friday shopping event by giving its customers a much more sustainable deal!
CMO’s Green Friday scheme will run across all eight of its online superstores and will see the online merchant plant a sapling tree for every purchase made over a designated value. This is in addition to offering customers a great range of product offers and the opportunity to qualify for a further 5 per cent voucher to be used throughout December and January. CMO’s Green Friday will run from the 24th to the 28th November inclusive, with full details including the required spending threshold available on each of the individual superstore websites.
CMO has already pledged its commitment to offsetting the environmental impact of its business operations through its CM Grow campaign that saw the merchant plant 2,500 trees in the area local to CMO’s Plymouth HQ. This new initiative to plant a sapling on behalf of its customers as part of the busy pre-Christmas shopping period is another key part of the company’s commitment to creating a more positive and rewarding retail experience for its customers.
Commenting Dean Murray, CEO of CMO Group PLC said: “We wanted to do something a little different this year and as we are committed to offering the best price points across all of our online superstores, we decided to give our customers even more. We know from the support we received for our CM Grow campaign that our customers are keen to take steps to reduce their carbon footprint, and that of their building project, which is why we are continuing our tree planting endeavours to cast a new light on Black Friday!”
Details of CMO’s Green Friday offers will be available across Roofing Superstore, Insulation Superstore, Door Superstore, Tile and Floor Superstore, Total Tiles, Drainage Superstore, Plumbing Superstore and the merchant’s successful trade account service Building Superstore. Homeowners can also take advantage of the offer on CMO’s latest consumer site Good Build Superstore.
