Bunnings’ team members have already been busy ahead of today’s store opening, helping with projects in the Frome area. These include painting a classroom for students at St John's First School and giving the doors of the local YMCA a fresh coat of paint.
Frome Complex Manager, Mandy Wilkinson, said: “All our team members have worked really hard to get the store ready for opening and have undertaken many hours of training to make sure we have the expertise to help customers with home or garden projects.”
To celebrate the opening, Amy Williams, former skeleton racer and Olympic gold medallist is joining a welcome breakfast for team members.
Amy said: “I’ve had a great morning opening the store and celebrating with Bunnings team members. It’s obvious to me that everyone here is committed to making the store a hit and I’ve no doubt that it will be a huge success.”
The store will host two weekends of events on 7-8 April and 14-15 April, where customers can enjoy a range of family activities including the famous Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, face-painting, balloon modelling and even join Peppa Pig for a Story Time session (see in store for details).
