B&Q to reveal new look Hedge End store
B&Q will soon open the doors to its newly revamped home improvement store in Hedge End. To celebrate, B&Q Hedge End will host a free family fun day, with activities being held between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 28th January.
With the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch running this weekend, B&Q wants to help its customers get enjoyment from having wildlife in their gardens. With that in mind, there will be lots of nature-inspired activities to keep all the family entertained throughout the fun day, including a designated area where children can have a go at making a bird feeder. There will also be a balloon modeller, face painter, stilt walkers, and games and giveaways galore.
B&Q Hedge End has been completely revamped to offer customers a huge variety of new products and features, including an inspirational new paint desk, a brand new kitchens and bathrooms display and more visual ranges of flooring and tiles.
Linda Brady, Unit Manager at B&Q Hedge End, said: “There are lots of activities and surprises planned for our fun day and we can’t wait to see families get involved. We wanted to pick a suitable theme for the event to tie in with the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch, and our team is looking forward to inspiring customers on the different ways it can encourage birds and wildlife into their garden. The fun day is going to be a great way to celebrate the reopening of our new and improved store, which features lots of new products and services to help residents in and around the Hedge End area with their home improvement projects. Our knowledgeable team will be on hand to offer expert advice and answer any questions people might have.”
The B&Q family fun day will take place on Saturday 28th January from 11am to 4pm at B&Q Hedge End, Charles Watts Way, Hedge End, Southampton SO30 4HW.
