B&Q reveals new look Sutton-in-Ashfield store

This week B&Q will open the doors to its newly revamped home improvement store in Sutton-in-Ashfield. To celebrate, B&Q Sutton-in-Ashfield will host a family fun day, with activities being held between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 5^th November, including a special guest appearance from Coronation Street star, Mikey North.

At the launch event Mikey  will be testing out his DIY skills against B&Q Sutton-in-Ashfield’s store team. There will be plenty to keep the family entertained throughout the day, including a balloon modeller, face painter, stilt walkers, and games and giveaways galore for parents and children alike.

B&Q Sutton-in-Ashfield has been completely revamped to offer customers a huge variety of new products and features, including an inspirational new paint desk, a brand new kitchens and bathrooms display and more visual ranges of flooring and tiles.  B&Q has had a presence in Sutton-In-Ashfield for a number of years and is soon to be joined by retailer Aldi, which will occupy new space created by B&Q Sutton-In-Ashfield’s revamp.

Tom Rigby, Unit Manager at B&Q Sutton-in-Ashfield, said: “We can’t wait to welcome customers to our revamped store and celebrate with a day of family fun. We’re ready to show off our new look to Sutton-in-Ashfield’s residents and inspire them to start a new home improvement project under the guidance of our expert advice. We’re all really looking forward to Saturday and, of course, putting Mikey’s DIY skills to the test.”

Mikey North added: “I’m really looking forward to helping celebrate the launch of the new B&Q Sutton-in-Ashfield store. I’m not sure that my DIY skills can beat the in store experts but it will be great to get some advice from them to make my own home improvement projects easier.”

The B&Q family fun day will take place on Saturday, 5^th November 2016 from 11am to 4pm, with Mikey North instore from 12-2pm, at B&Q Sutton-in-Ashfield, Ashfield Gateway, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. NG17 4HW.
