B&Q reveals new look Milton Keynes store

B&Q will soon open the doors to its newly revamped home improvement store in Milton Keynes. To celebrate, B&Q Milton Keynes will host a free family fun day, with activities being held between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 21^st January, including special guest appearance from ex-Emmerdale star, Kelvin Fletcher between 12pm and 2pm.

At the launch event, Kelvin Fletcher will be testing out his DIY skills against the B&Q Milton Keynes’ store team. There will be lots of activities to keep all the family entertained throughout the day, including a balloon modeller, face painter, stilt walkers, games and giveaways galore. There will also be a designated area where children can have a go at planting vegetables and plants.

B&Q Milton Keynes has been completely revamped to offer customers a huge variety of new products and features, including an inspirational new paint desk, a brand new kitchens and bathrooms display and more visual ranges of flooring and tiles. The whole store is brighter and better than before, providing customers with all the inspiration they need to complete their own home improvement projects.

Martyn Buzzard, Unit Manager at B&Q Milton Keynes, said: “The fun day promises to be a brilliant event for all the family and we‘re looking forward to seeing everyone getting stuck into the activities and surprises we’ve got planned, including Kelvin who will battle it out against our staff in a very special DIY challenge! We can’t wait to welcome local residents into our newly revamped store so they can see all our new products and services, and our knowledgeable team will be on hand to offer expert advice for their own home improvement projects.”

Kelvin Fletcher added: “The family fun day sounds like it’s going to be a great way to celebrate B&Q Milton Keynes’ recent revamp and I’m looking forward to being part of it. My DIY skills might be a bit rusty – but I’m certainly going to give the challenge my best shot and I hope the public will help to cheer me on!”

The B&Q family fun day will take place on Saturday 21^st January from 11am to 4pm, with Kelvin Fletcher instore from 12-2pm, at B&Q Milton Keynes, Patriot Dr, Bradwell Common, Milton Keynes MK13 8PU.
