Better Bathrooms receives £4m funding boost
Bathroom retailer Better Bathrooms has secured a £4m investment from one of its shareholders - investment firm Business Growth Fund (BGF) - which initially invested £10m into the business in July 2013.
The company, which currently employs 400 people, plans to create 100 new jobs with the capital, and expects to exceed £60m in sales this financial year, with a longer-term goal of £100m in sales by 2018.
Better Bathrooms' store network consists of 10 branches, the company having recently opened branches in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Birmingham.
Colin Stevens, CEO of Better Bathrooms, said: “These developments mark an important step for the business as we look to add further scale to the business,”
“Our long opening hours of up to 10pm, seven days a week – and leading service levels with our own fleet dedicated two-man delivery – mean that we continue to take market share from all the major bathroom retail and DIY chains,”
“With additional support from BGF funding, we can work towards strengthening our mission statement – to be better on every level.”
