Bathstore Appoints Atomic London As Creative Agency
Bathstore has followed in the footsteps of parent company Homebase by appointing Atomic London as its new creative agency.
Homebase acquired Bathstore in July after the bathroom retailer fell into administration in late June.
Damian McGloughlin, CEO of Homebase, said of the acquisition: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Bathstore into the Homebase family. With a reputation for quality service and excellent products, Bathstore complements Homebase’s reinvigorated range."
Homebase appointed Ian Penney, formerly of B&Q, as director of the Bathstore business in July 2019. He said: “I’m proud to be leading the experienced and knowledgeable Bathstore team at this hugely important milestone in the history of the brand.
“We’ve got a really exciting opportunity to reinvigorate Bathstore as we continue to run standalone stores and start to introduce concessions into Homebase.”
Jon Goulding, CEO, Atomic London, said: “We’re looking forward to working in partnership with Bathstore to develop its strategic approach and deliver some great campaigns,”
